BIO:
I am a multimedia artist with my primary focus in encaustic painting. I retired from a career in Special Education and Therapeutic Recreation where I utilized art in therapeutic and educational activities. I enjoy exploring possibilities in every medium, looking beyond what is immediately evident, reveling in the exploration of color combinations, textures and employing materials in a variety of ways. My work is intuitive, flowing from my heart to express my connection to the world around me. I am a member of The Blue Ridge Arts Center, the Anderson Artists Guild, and the North Georgia Art Guild. I have been honored to share and teach at various venues across South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina.
