Pam Kelley

BIO:

Pam Kelley, an Easley resident since 1992, has been creating most of her life. Her love of art led her to major in commercial design and receive a BFA degree. However, she loved her painting classes, especially watercolors. After a few years in advertising, she took some years off to raise three children. Still feeling the urge to create during that time, she became involved in her local community theatre for many years…building props, painting sets, designing and building costumes, designing posters and playbills, and occasionally acting. Since 2017, Pam has rediscovered her love of painting. Even though Pam painted in acrylics and watercolors in college, oils and pastels are her mediums of choice. Pam and her husband have done a little traveling since his retirement, and she is always on the lookout for subject matter for future paintings. She is especially inspired by our world’s natural beauty and has had her work displayed in the Belton Center for the Arts, the Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville and in juried shows at the Pickens County Museum of Art and History and at the Anderson Art Center. Several pieces of her work currently hang in a financial advisor’s office in Greenville.
