Patty Cunningham has a long standing relationship with the White Rabbit Fine Art Gallery, in Travelers Rest. She was an original founding member of the gallery. She served on the board of the Travelers Rest Artist Alliance. She has devoted countless hours to the success of the gallery and her artistic talents have been an inspiration to others; both fellow artists and visitors.

Previous to creating gorgeous watercolors, Patty enjoyed a successful career in Real Estate. Ms. Cunningham discovered art late in life, however once she made that discovery she set her course for success. She studied art with some of the nation’s finest water-color artists. To date, Patty has enhanced her art skills, taking classes in both the US and abroad. Constantly learning and honing her skills, she also enjoys delving into other art forms. Patty recently discovered the art of glass fusing and, in true “Patty style” she dove in. See her fused art work at the White Rabbit Fine Art Gallery until August 2nd.

Patty Cunningham is well known for her artistic work. She is recognized across South Carolina and was recently honored by the South Carolina Water-color Society, of which she is now a member; another testament to her skills.

To say Ms. Cunningham leads a full life is an understatement at best. Aside from constantly creating new work, she is involved in several organizations, including Metropolitan Arts Council, Greenville Garden Club and Art Enthusiasts, Greenville, South Carolina. Ms. Cunningham holds a popular Tuesday morning class, where she offers personal instruction both in-studio and on zoom. Her students are guided to paint beautiful water-color scenes.

Patty is well known for her leadership role at the White Rabbit Fine Art Gallery, as a valued member of the board. A fellow board member states, “Patty has the ability to interject calm into any otherwise chaotic situation”.

Now, after many years of service in Travelers Rest, Patty Cunningham is starting a new life chapter. She will soon be moving north to join family. We, at the White Rabbit Fine Art Gallery join countless others as we submit this article as a tribute to our founder, leader, and friend, realizing this to be a bitter-sweet offering.

Patty, we will miss you dearly. We bid you great success in your new ventures. You will always hold a special place in our collective hearts.
